Usage and billing

The VoisX Cloud Platform bills on usage. This page explains how billing works and what is metered. For current prices, see voisx.ai/pricing.

Plans

PlanHow it works
Pay-as-you-go (Standard on the pricing page)No monthly fee or commitment. You add credits, and every agent in the organization draws from the same balance. You can change plan any time.
EnterpriseA negotiated annual contract with volume commitments and a dedicated account team. Contact sales to set one up.

Some features, for example knowledge base storage, workflows and alert rules, depend on your plan. Only organization Owners and Admins can change the plan, in Organization → Plan.

Billing is per organization

Billing is counted for the whole organization, not per project. All projects in all regions share one credit balance and one bill. A project's Settings → Billing page shows the organization's plan, spend and remaining credit.

Credits

  1. Open Organization → Billing.
  2. Click Add credits and choose an amount, or enter your own.
  3. Pay by card through the secure checkout. Card details never reach VoisX.

When the balance runs out, agents can't start new calls, chats or workflow runs until you add credits. If usage in a period goes past your balance, the remaining amount shows as an Unpaid balance, which you can settle by card or from credits.

Balance alert

To get an email before you run out, open the Balance alert tab on the billing page, set a threshold in USD and the email address to notify.

What is metered

Voice

Voice conversations, on the phone or in the browser, are billed per minute. The rate depends on the voice model the agent uses, for example a realtime speech model or a speech-to-text, language model and text-to-speech pipeline.

Phone calls also have phone carrier minutes, the cost of the call on the phone network. These show separately.

Chat

Chat conversations are billed per message. The rate depends on the group the agent's AI model belongs to: Small, Standard, Frontier or Premium.

Workflows

A workflow run is billed on:

  • Runs: each run started, by a trigger, the API or a test.
  • Active minutes: the time the run spends working, at the rate for the most capable AI tier it used, from No AI up to Premium.
  • Extra AI messages: AI model calls beyond what the active minutes include.

Each run on a workflow's Runs tab shows its billable minutes and charge. Phone calls a workflow places are billed as voice and carrier minutes.

Phone numbers and SIP trunks

Phone numbers you rent through VoisX have a rental charge. If you bring your own carrier over a SIP trunk, SIP trunks and SIP trunk minutes are metered.

Data storage

Each plan includes a number of days of retention for transcripts, recordings, logs and metrics. If you keep data longer, the extra days are billed as data storage. See Conversation data.

Everything else

Other usage, such as knowledge base searches and storage, tool calls, conversation insights, call recording, transcription and alert deliveries, is billed on actual usage. The usage breakdown shows each item and its charge.
