Microsoft Dynamics 365
The Dynamics 365 integration lets agents read accounts, create leads and run custom queries against your Dynamics 365 (Dataverse) organization.
Connect
You need your Dynamics 365 organization name. It is the first part of your Dynamics URL: for https://contoso.crm.dynamics.com, the organization name is contoso.
The integration connects to organizations whose URL ends in .crm.dynamics.com. If your Dynamics URL uses a different regional domain, such as .crm4.dynamics.com, contact us before you set it up.
- Open your project and go to Tools → Add tool → From template.
- Find Dynamics 365 and select it.
- Enter your organization name, then click Connect with Microsoft.
- Sign in with a Microsoft 365 work account that has a Dynamics 365 license and security role, then click Accept.
- Back in the VoisX console, select the actions you want to enable and click Install integration.
The agent acts as the user who connected and can only see and change the records that user's security roles allow.
Actions
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| List Accounts | Lists accounts |
| Get Account | Reads one account |
| Create Lead | Creates a lead |
| Query Records (Custom) | Runs a custom Dataverse Web API query, for entities and filters you define |
Prefer the specific actions where you can. If you use Query Records (Custom), tell the agent in its prompt exactly which entity and filters to use.
Troubleshooting
"Admin approval required"
Your organization does not let users approve third-party apps. Ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to approve the VoisX app.
403 Forbidden
The connected user does not have a security role that allows this action. Update their security roles in Dynamics 365.
